I bought the Siena Pro 15 backpack specifically for my work trips. I’m usually gone for anywhere between 3-5 days and this backpack has been everything I need it to be. I also never check my luggage, so there were certain factors I was looking for in a bag to ensure it would be completely carry-on: 1. It has to be small enough to fit under the seat in front of me, if needed 2. It needs to be water resistant 3. It needs to also function as my daily work bag, so it can’t be too big or bulky 4. It needs to have an external water bottle holder I feel like this bag checked all the boxes. Starting off with the pros: it’s lightweight so it doesn’t add any noticeable weight once it’s filled. It’s small enough to fit sideways in the upper compartment bin on a plane, and if needed, it could fit under the seat (provided there’s no water bottle on the side). The bag is comfortable to wear, has plenty of pockets for organizing, and the main compartment is spacious enough for me to bring a few days worth of clothes and other travel essentials. The laptop compartment is bigger than I expected— I was able to fit both my laptop and iPad in the same space, along with the charger on top. I appreciate the external charging feature and the 2 separate front pockets. What I would recommend for improvement: while it’s great that there’s a waterproof pouch on the inside for toiletries that could leak, it would be great if that pouch was see-through and velcro detachable to make it easy to separate your liquids when going through security. It also would be nice to have a space at the bottom of the bag specifically for a pair of shoes that can be accessed via separate zipper so that your shoes and clean clothes are not mingling, but are still accessible.
