12-Inch Diameter Iron Grill Protective Cover for 10-Inch Audio Speaker Subwoofer

Not a flimsy plastic “protector”, I didn’t see in the description that it is a 12″ grill made for 10″ subs, so I put it on my old school Kenwood Excelon KFC-XW12DB. The Kenwood Excelon series, especially this particular model, are known for having extra long yokes for extra long cone excursion. I have it in a 1.6 cu.ft vented box and am sending about 200 watts through it, it’s a 250 RMS 1000 peak 4ohm speaker. Plenty of space behind this grill, went to buy another one or 2 yesterday (black friday) when they were $9.xx shipped, but of course I forgot. If anyone asked me what type of grill to get for maximum protection with a modern look this one wins hands down. I also use the chrome 4 bar style, and just got a pair of chrome 2 wavy bar type, but for max protection this is it!
