OK – these little pipe cleaners are just fantastic. We have several uses for them. First is – we take one and wrap it around a finger and call for our cats Alice and Dotty. Alice loves playing with her pipe cleaners sweeping & chasing them across the floor. Dotty, on the other hand, prefers to catch and re-toss these wrapped gems around and will fight you to keep what she has. She isnt much for sharing and sometimes we find a stash they have hidden behind the cookbook shelf or under a chair. Next, we use one to hold up the “cat” door we put in our bedroom door. Alice dosent like to “push” the door open, but Dotty is quite proficient at opening the door – so during the night the door is closed, but we open it every morning mostly for Alice by using a pipe cleaner. I also use one when I hang up a new/different wreath on the front door. And in my Sewing Room, a pipe cleaner keeps the small scissors I own basically in one place. i have a thumb tack on the shelf of my Serger threads and I loop my small scissors over the pipecleaner that is wrapped around the tack. It is completely flexable and yet holds the scissors, so I can always I grab it – yeah, its very Silly but it works. i also use pipe cleaners to hold the string of drying peppers. I string fresh jalapeno peppers from our garden and hang the string off a pipe cleaner twisted around my overhead pots and pans holder hanging from the celing. So, as far as pipe cleaners, these are perfect for the all the multi-uses we need them for. More than likely they will work for your needs. My Grand children, when younger enjoyed playing with them also. The last reason is, they are inexpensive enough to toss away without worry of having to buy more. You’re welcome to ask Alice and Dotty for personal references if necessary!
